NCMA DC is honored to welcome Kim Rupert (CPCM, Fellow) as the speaker for our virtual meeting on Wednesday, April 21. The meeting is free and will be held virtually via Zoom. Networking will run from 5:30-6:00pm and the program will run from 6:00-7:15pm. While there is no charge to attend, registration is required to receive a login and CPE.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: Kim Rupert is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at SAIC. In her current role, Rupert is responsible for ensuring company leadership has a single view of enterprise risk and for developing compliance mechanisms to mitigate those risks. She oversees the Office of Business Conduct and Excellence, which brings together the company’s ethics, compliance and cybersecurity functions.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Rupert was SAIC’s Senior Vice President of Contracts and Pricing. In that role, she was part of the SAIC leadership team tasked with carrying out the “split” that separated SAIC from its former parent company. As part of the transition, Rupert led the novation of more than 12,000 contracts from the parent company to SAIC.
Ms. Rupert holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland College Park, an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in Law (Cybersecurity) from the University of Maryland, and a Master’s Certificate in Government Contracting from George Washington University. Kim has also served as the President of the NCMA Board of Directors and is a recipient of the Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award.
