From Disruption to Opportunity: Tactical Procurement and Contracting for Rapid Response
In an era of global disruption — pandemics, supply-chain shocks, geopolitical crises, and rapid technology change — procurement and contracting professionals must operate at speed, with flexibility, and with resilience. Whether you're supporting a federal agency, commercial enterprise, or non-profit, the ability to respond rapidly matters. NCMA DC welcomes Jacob Acosta of Amazon Business and Kateryna Bondar of the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) on Wednesday, November 19 to explore agile contracting in a world of disruption.
This event is designed for contracting officers, procurement leaders, supply-chain professionals, commercial-industry partners, and anyone who is responsible for sourcing, acquisitions or responding rapidly to changing mission needs. Learn best-practices from recent contingency operations (including Ukraine) plus how those lessons translate to everyday procurement challenges like lead-time reduction, transparency, supplier agility, and mission readiness.
Join us for an evening at Amazon HQ2, enjoy spectacular views of the Potomac, connect with contracting and procurement professionals across sectors, and unwind in a casual atmosphere.
