NCMA DC is pleased to announce the Fall 2022 session of its Certified Contract Management Associate (CCMA) Study Group. The group will meet virtually via MS Teams (login details to follow) and led by Dr. Jayati Sendasgupta. Classes will take place from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM on Tuesdays from September 13, 2022- October 11, 2022. As always, the class is free to NCMA members. Non-members may also participate for a nominal fee.
NCMA certifications are considered the gold standard for contract management excellence. These certifications are awarded to candidates who meet rigorous standards - including work experience, education, training, and knowledge. The CCMA designation is based on the Certified Federal Contracts Manager Study Guide, 3rd Edition and is one of NCMA’s prestigious certification.
The CCMA is awarded to those who meet education, training, and/or experience requirements and who demonstrate knowledge of the Contract Management Standard (CMS). It is intended to serve as a stepping stone to higher level NCMA certifications. To be eligible for the CCMA, you must meet certain education, training, and/or work experience requirements. You should have an education level of Bachelor’s degree (must be from a regionally accredited institution), one year of work experience (must conform with CMS competencies), and training equivalent to 40 CPE (must conform with CPE Guide).
The Contract Management Standard Publication, Second Edition is required for the course.
