NCMA DC is honored to welcome Chris Toffales as the speaker for our free VIRTUAL October meeting on Wednesday, October 20. Mr. Toffales will be discussing the significant risks to our economic and national security associated with the microelectronics manufacturing and supply chain. Despite holding a 47% market share in sales of microelectronics, the US only accounts for approximately 12% of global production. America relies on parts for commercial and military systems that are made offshore and, in many cases, are single-sourced.
Disruption of the worldwide microelectronics supply chain would seriously impact the U.S. economy, as well as the readiness posture of our armed forces and operability of critical infrastructure such as electric grids, banking, and the medical industries. Join us on Zoom to learn more about this critical issue. Virtual networking starts at 5:30pm and the speaker will begin at 6:00pm Eastern.
Mr. Toffales is the President and Managing Director of CTC Aero, LLC. He has nearly 40 years of experience in Aerospace and Defense and holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electrical Engineering. Over the course of his career, he has worked closely with the Armed Forces, Commercial Aerospace, and the Intelligence Community (IC) to address mission critical needs. In addition, Chris has extensive experience in Mergers and Acquisitions with over 17 successful transactions totaling over $2.5 Billion in the area of DoD and IC.
